Mia (Mijung) Joo is a story artist. She graduated from the China Central Academy of Fine Art, Beijing. After receiving a Ph.D. in visual culture theories, she moved to the United States. With 10 years' experience in contemporary art gallery curating and translating in China and South Korea, she finally decided to create stories in films. She always enjoys drawing and joking, wanting to capture the sky color as beautifully changing. She lives in Berkeley with her younger brother.
